Insulin Syringes by TRUEplus
TRUEplus Insulin Syringes

TRUEplus insulin syringes are supported by a 10 out 10 rating in laboratory testing. They feature silicone-coated, quality, single-use needles. No one looks forward to being stuck with a needle. That’s why TRUEplus features a precision-cut, tri-beveled needle tip. This allows the user more comfort while taking insulin dosages. Also, there are no burrs or surface imperfections on these needles. They are offered in a variety of sizes available to fit your need for insulin dosages and your comfort. Please choose the size that best fits you, your diabetes management, and comfort from the drop-down box above.

Syringe sizes range from 28 to 31 gauge. The capacity of the syringe is based on your dosage. For example, if you take less than 30 units, you would need a 0.3 cc syringe. That is not to say that you cannot use a 1 cc syringe, but, for the most accurate dosing, use a syringe that is closest to your prescribed dose. That is also for you and your healthcare provider to decide what is best in your situation. Always consult with your healthcare provider first about the size, length, and capacity of the syringe that would best fit you, your diabetes management, and your personal comfort.

TRUEplus offers a syringe with no dead space in the barrel. This allows for accurate dosing. The boxes are sold in 10 packs of 10 syringes each (100 syringes per box). The syringe itself is “unibody” and features large, clear unit markings, finger grip, flat gasket, flanged needle cap, and a flanged plunger cap.

Features

These syringes are made for single use ONLY. They are meant to be used one time for one dosage and then disposed of immediately after use. Using the syringe multiple times, reduces the sharpness of the needle, the lubrication on the needle (both will cause pain and discomfort) and increases the chance of infections. Do NOT share syringes. Do NOT use if needle is bent or damaged. Never touch or handle someone else’s syringes. Patients who mix two types of insulin: do not change the order of mixing that your healthcare professional prescribed. Failure to abide by this warning might lead to dosage error. Please dispose of syringes in an approved sharps container or an approved puncture-proof container. If you have any questions on disposal, please contact your local health department for more information. Keep out of the reach of children.

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)

TENS is a non-invasive, drug free method of controlling pain, which uses tiny electrical impulses sent through the skin to nerves in order to modify your pain perception. In most people it is effective in reducing or eliminating the pain.

Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS)

EMS works by sending electronic pulses to the muscle(s). This is achieved by sending low frequency electric pulses through muscle tissue causing them to gently contract. In this way the muscles are passively exercised and blood flow is increased

Galvanic Stimulators

Galvanic Stimulators use direct current, which creates an electrical field over the treated area. The positive pad works like ice, causing reduced circulation to the area under the pad. The negative pad works like heat, causing increased circulation.

Interferential

IF sends small comfortable electrical impulses through your skin to work on deeper tissue stimulation. The sensation works to prevent pain signals from reaching the brain.

Infrared

Infrared Light Therapy help the body by delivering specific light waveforms that increase circulation. Increasing circulation helps promote healing, lessen swelling, and helps in reducing pain.

Ultrasound

Portable Ultrasounds give advanced pain relief using sonic stimulation of soft tissue cells. They generate pulsed, high frequency sound waves, which travel deep into the tissue, generating vasodilation. This helps increase blood flow to the treated area.

Russian

Russian stimulation uses medium frequencies to provide stimulation to muscle groups. This is used to reduce muscle spasms as well as for muscle strengthening. This method was created to produce maximal muscle strengthening effects.

Micro Current

Microcurrent Therapy uses extremely small amounts of electrical current (millionths of an amp) to help relieve pain and heal soft tissues of the body. The electrical current used in Microcurrent Therapy is so small that it is rarely felt.
