Drive Nitro Duet Rollator and Transport Chair

If you’re looking for a personal rollator, but sometimes need a transport chair, too, well, have we got news for you!! Introducing the Drive Medical Duet, an amazing combination rollator and transport chair! It folds easily for transport, so that it’s ready to use wherever you are. You can use it as a regular rollator, with a built-in seat for sitting anywhere you are, plus, if the need arises, a caretaker or other helper can push you along safely in the transport chair mode.

The Drive Medical Duet supports up to 300 pounds and has a limited lifetime warranty. It has a cross-brace design that adds stability and makes it easier for side-to-side folding. The front wheels are 10 diameter and the rear wheels are 8 diameter, and make turning this combination rollator transport chair a breeze.

Safety Instructions for the Combination Rollator Transport Chair:

  • Please make sure the Drive Medical Duet is fully opened and the seat is down
  • Be sure the handgrips are at equal height
  • Test the brakes before operating this combination rollator transport chair. When wheels are locked (see illustrations for locking and releasing locks previously in this manual), lock bar on rear wheels should prevent wheels from rotating. If the wheels rotate while locked, please take unit back to dealer for adjustment. When the brakes are released, the wheels should rotate freely on the combination rollator transport chair.
  • Always lock the brakes before sitting and do not use seat when unit is on an incline or uneven ground
  • Replace wheels when significantly worn or damaged
  • Before entering or leaving the chair, engage the dual wheel locks on both rear wheels. Make sure the front casters are in the forward position before transferring into or out of the chair
  • Leaning forward while using the Nitro Duet as a transport chair without proper assistance can cause tipping.
  • Do not expose the combination rollator transport chair to temperatures above 104F for an extended period of time, as this can cause the parts to overheat and burn the user
  • Please make sure the Nitro Duet is fully opened, seat is down and the folding bar under seat is locked in the down position.
  • Be sure that both knobs are fully tightened and are at equal heights. Test the Nitro Duet for stability before applying weight to hand grips.
  • Regularly check the screws and fasteners on the Nitro Duet and tighten if necessary.
  • This item should never be used in a moving vehicle.
  • When exiting the transport chair:
    • Engage wheel locks by pressing down on brake handles.
    • Remove feet from footrests first and place firmly on the ground.
    • Then use armrests for support before attempting to stand up. Assistance is always suggested.
  • Use bag only for transport of objects and do not overload. Maximum load: 11 lbs

This warranty does not cover device failure due to owner misuse or negligence, or normal wear and tear. The warranty does not extend to non-durable components, such as rubber accessories, casters, and grips, which are subject to normal wear and need periodic replacement.
