The Twin Stim 2nd edition gives the user the choice of 5 modes of TENS and 2 Modes of EMS. This dual TENS unit and EMS unit combines two effective therapies in one device. It is extremely popular unit due to its versatility. The Twin Stim unit features include, Dual Channel, 7 modes, Timer, Patient Compliance Meter, New Stronger 100mA output, safety amplitude cover, sturdy metal belt clip, rubber side railings for maximum handling.

Use this unit for Acute and Chronic Pain, Muscle Rehabilitation, Muscle Atrophy, and Toning. So whether your pain is originating from nerve or muscle, the Twin Stim unit is an effective solution.

How Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation works:
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is a non-invasive, drugfree method of controlling pain. TENS Units use tiny electrical impulses sent through the skin to nerves to modify your pain perception. In most people it is effective in reducing or eliminating the pain, allowing for a return to normal activity. In many people, the reduction or elimination of pain lasts longer than the actual period of stimulation (sometimes as much as three to four times longer). In others, pain is modified while stimulation actually occurs.Unit overrides the pain signal to the brain by sending a comfortable electronic impulse. When the TENS Unit overrides the pain signal, it "tricks" the brain into thinking there is NO PAIN. This produces Fast and Rapid Pain Relief, usually within a minute or two. You can control and customize the intensity, pulse rate, and pulse width to "experiment" and find the best setting for your pain relief.

How Electronic Muscle Stimulation works:
Electronic Muscle Stimulation is an internationally accepted and proven way of treating muscle injuries. It works by sending electronic pulses to the muscle needing treatment; this causes the muscle to exercise passively. Electronic Muscle Stimulators (EMS) Stimulate, Re-educate, Massage, and Build Muscle. Electronic Muscle Stimulation is basically done by stimulating some areas of the body. For this purpose, an electronic stimulation device is used - electrode pads are placed directly on the body area(s) that need to be stimulated. By dialling the voltage, you can pick different pressure on the muscles, that create various medical and cosmetic effects.

The low voltage is usually done on smaller, involuntary muscle groups, which cannot be stimulated in other ways. The low voltage also stimulates the brain, which starts sending impulses through the involuntary muscles, thus stimulating them as well.

Electronic Muscle Stimulators (EMS) are used for both medical treatment and cosmetic purposes (conditioning and toning). Medical conditions treated by Muscle Stimulation include: Muscle Spasms, Long-term Disuse after Fracture or Prolonged Bed Rest, Strengthening for Joint or Muscle Injury, Immobilized Limbs, Atrophy Prevention, Bell's Palsy, Stress Incontinence, Muscle Weakness, Improving Muscle Tone, Muscle Spasticity following a Stroke, and Personal Fitness Training.

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)

TENS is a non-invasive, drug free method of controlling pain, which uses tiny electrical impulses sent through the skin to nerves in order to modify your pain perception. In most people it is effective in reducing or eliminating the pain.

Electronic Muscle Stimulation (EMS)

EMS works by sending electronic pulses to the muscle(s). This is achieved by sending low frequency electric pulses through muscle tissue causing them to gently contract. In this way the muscles are passively exercised and blood flow is increased

Galvanic Stimulators

Galvanic Stimulators use direct current, which creates an electrical field over the treated area. The positive pad works like ice, causing reduced circulation to the area under the pad. The negative pad works like heat, causing increased circulation.

Interferential

IF sends small comfortable electrical impulses through your skin to work on deeper tissue stimulation. The sensation works to prevent pain signals from reaching the brain.

Infrared

Infrared Light Therapy help the body by delivering specific light waveforms that increase circulation. Increasing circulation helps promote healing, lessen swelling, and helps in reducing pain.

Ultrasound

Portable Ultrasounds give advanced pain relief using sonic stimulation of soft tissue cells. They generate pulsed, high frequency sound waves, which travel deep into the tissue, generating vasodilation. This helps increase blood flow to the treated area.

Russian

Russian stimulation uses medium frequencies to provide stimulation to muscle groups. This is used to reduce muscle spasms as well as for muscle strengthening. This method was created to produce maximal muscle strengthening effects.

Micro Current

Microcurrent Therapy uses extremely small amounts of electrical current (millionths of an amp) to help relieve pain and heal soft tissues of the body. The electrical current used in Microcurrent Therapy is so small that it is rarely felt.
